MEET THE AUTHOR
LaKeisha Fletcher is a devoted mother, a world traveler, an inspiring entrepreneur, a dedicated yoga instructor, a transformative life coach and a healing leader. She now adds first-time author to her accomplishments with the release of the book “Rediscovering The Goddess - Journaling Through My Journey to Redefine Me.”
Journaling through her journey to redefine the goddess in her, LaKeisha serves as a stimulating and encouraging storyteller on how she journaled through her journey in capturing moments that seem clear at times and unclear at other times. She reaches audiences in the spaces where they are ready to explore and revive that which may have been lost but ready to be rediscovered.
As a community leader in the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia metropolitan areas, LaKeisha received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Tennessee State University (Nashville TN). She has an extensive background and training with government, nonprofit, and family services agencies having served as a former member of AmeriCorps National Community Civilian Corps (NCCC). She received her master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Cappella University.
LaKeisha lives in Washington DC with her family and two dogs, Levi and Juneau.
